FLAGGING AND TRAFFIC CONTROL CLASS (Pierce College Puyallup)

Earn your Washington State Traffic Control Card in just one day! Jobs range from a parking attendant at a concert to controlling traffic at a special event, construction or road maintenance site. This training includes classroom instruction and hands-on practice covering state laws and safety and traffic control procedures. Upon completion, you'll receive a flagging card valid for three years. Book included. You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment. Bring sack lunch; no food services are available onsite. Special arrangements can also be made for groups of 15 or more to train at your business location. Instructor Andrea Pollard has been teaching flagging and traffic control classes in 1981. Andrea's method of teaching is one that reflects 27 years of practice. She likes to have the students interact, ask questions, give feedback, share ideas, and gives lots of help so that the student completes the class successfully.
