July 2003. The South Hill area of Puyallup just east of Meridian off 152nd Street East. One very lucky home owner. Decent damage that could have been much more significant. Fireworks set fire to the yard and shrubs, spreading to the exterior of the garage and into the roof. Central Pierce Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and quickly put out the fire. Pierce County Sheriff deputies and the Fire Marshal investigated the incident.
